A fine half-shaded green tea powder from the second flush. Very aromatic and fresh with a very mild bitter note. Delicious on its own or even for making green tea cocktails and cuisine.
Also available as loose leaf.
Add about 2 bamboo spoons (chashaku) of powder into a pre-heated tea bowl (chawan). Add about 70-100ml of water at 80-85°C into the bowl. Use a bamboo whisk (chasen) to whisk the mixture in quick 'M' and 'W' movements until it is frothy.
Green tea powder is very sensitive. We recommend pressing out the air from the pack before closing with a grip, then storing the pack in an air-tight container. Store the container in the fridge or freezer. Best consumed within 6 weeks of opening.
