KEIKO green teas are grown in the best climate conditions of Kagoshima in Southern Japan, with a still active volcano Sakurajima. As such, the soil is very fertile and is extremely suitable for the organic growing of high-quality green tea.
In order to prevent oxidation as well as preserve all active substances and delicate aromas of the fresh tea leaves, KEIKO teas are processed in a special proprietary manner immediately after picking. The tea leaves are steamed, cooled, rolled and dried. Not to mention, even the packaging has been carefully considered to ensure optimum tea freshness and quality for an excellent experience of KEIKO teas.
